The Toyota Yaris Ativ sedan was launched in Thailand back in August 2017. Having completed its first anniversary in Thai market, Toyota has announced that it has sold more than 31,000 units of this sedan within a year.

The Yaris Ativ sedan in Thailand is powered by 3NR-FE 1.2-litre Dual VVT-i petrol engine that produces 87hp with a peak torque of 108Nm. The engine comes mated to a CVT gearbox. The Toyota Yaris Ativ measures 4,425 mm in length, 1,730 mm in width, and 1,475 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,550 mm.
Toyota Yaris Ativ in Thailand comes with an array of features including projector headlamps with LED light guides, LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs), power retract side mirrors, 15-inch alloy wheels, leather door trim, leather shift knob and leather wrapped steering wheel, optitron instrument panel with 4.2-inch MID and 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with DVD player and six speakers.
Safety features include rear parking sensors, reversing camera, 7 airbags, ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, Stability Control, Hill Assist Control and Traction Control. The Yaris Ativ is the only car in its segment to offer seven airbags.

In Thailand the Yaris Ativ sedan is slotted below the Vios & gets the Eco Car status making it eligible for subsidies. It competes against the likes of Honda Amaze and Mitsubishi Attrage.
