With the new BS6 emission standards coming into effect from 1st of April, Honda has updated the 2020 CR-V in India priced from INR 28.27 lac (PKR 61.54 lac). However the company has discontinued the diesel variants of the CR-V as they did not comply with the stringent BS6 regulations.

Offered in a single trim, the BS6 compliant Honda CR-V petrol is powered by a 2.0-liter, four cylinder i-VTEC engine that produces 152hp of power and 189Nm of torque. The engine comes available with a CVT gearbox paired to a 2WD system.
While the company has discontinued most of its diesel models in India including City & Civic diesels, the company has pulled the plugs off the 7-seater Honda BR-V due to poor sales. The BR-V was available with two engine options in India, a 1.5-liter i-VTEC petrol unit paired to a 6-speed manual or a CVT and a 1.5-liter i-DTEC diesel engine paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. The petrol versions were priced between INR 9.52 lac and INR 12.85 lac whereas the diesel versions were available from INR 10.16 lac and INR 13.82 lac.
