The current third-generation Kia Picanto debuted in 2017, more than two & a half years before the globally retired second-generation model was launched in Pakistan in late 2019. Then the first facelift arrived in global markets hardly a few months after the introduction of the obsolete one in our country. The one we have here first appeared in 2011 and was phased out in the rest of the world in 2017. Even though the third-generation model has now got its second facelift, we have yet to get rid of the globally obsolete second-generation Picanto in Pakistan, which is priced at a whopping Rs 33.5 lac for manual and Rs 38.5 lac for the automatic variant.
