Mitsubishi is displaying the new Pajero Sport at the ongoing 2019 Thai Motor Expo which made its debut on the 25th of July earlier this year.
The Pajero Sport now features the Dynamic Shield fascia synergizing it with the new breed of Mitsubishis including the Triton pickup and Xpander MPV. The horizontal slatted grille is flanked by reshaped bi-LED headlamps that are now trapezoidal in shape with a LED light bar near the base acting as daytime running lights (DRLs).
Towards the rear it has new lighting graphics for the combination lamps, new skid plate and a restyled bumper. The new Pajero Sport rides on freshly designed dual-tone, double-spoke alloy wheels.
Inside, there is an 8-inch digital instrument cluster and a new 8-inch infotainment unit as well as a new steering wheel and a new climate control panel. The rear passengers also get access to an AC power outlet in addition to the existing USB outlets.
The 2019 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport facelift continues to be powered by 2.4 liter 4N15 four-cylinder turbodiesel engine that punches out 180 hp of power and 430 Nm of torque. The engine is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission with 2- and 4-wheel drive (Super-Select 4WD-II) options available.
