Deepal is a new energy brand under Changan that debuted in China in 2022. Currently, these are the only two vehicles in the brand’s portfolio. Both vehicles sit on the same platform and share the same powertrain too. There is a 190 kW single electric motor mounted on the rear axle which works in tandem with a 66.8-kWh ternary NMC battery back enabling a driving range of 540 km, for the L07 sedan. The range however reduces to 485 km in the S07 due to it being an SUV (relatively heavier).
