Soon after Yu Chengdong, Executive Director of Huawei, made the announcement, Luxeed’s official photographs have now been unveiled in China. EH3 is the vehicle’s internal codename, and its public debut is anticipated for later this year.
Luxeed will be the first vehicle to have Huawei’s HarmonyOS 4.0 in-vehicle operating system, which includes a more intelligent voice assistant and a new generation of short-range wireless connectivity technology known as NearLink. This new technology, according to Huawei, is far faster than Bluetooth.
The official images show a beautifully design car in a dual-tone paint scheme featuring clean uncluttered styling having a closed fascia, LED headlights, a fastback profile, hidden door handles, full-width tail lights, and 5-spoke wheels with red brake calipers.
To support the car’s advanced driving assistance features, which come from Huawei ADS 2.0 – Huawei’s second-generation autonomous driving system, side-view cameras are also mounted on the front fenders on both sides, a millimeter-wave radar is mounted at the front, and lidar is mounted on the roof.
Apart from exterior images, nothing else has been revealed so far. However, the company is expected to reveal technical details as well as interior imagery in the forthcoming weeks.
