Daihatsu will unveil the DN Trec and the new DN Multisix concepts at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show which will open on 25th October 2017.
The Daihatsu DN Trec concept is a mini crossover with the footprint of a hatchback. It will feature a 1.2 liter petrol hybrid powertrain, although it can also be fitted with a smaller 1.0 liter turbocharged engine.
DN Trec is aimed at those with an active lifestyle, offering a high-quality interior and styling. Exterior features includes plastic-cladding along the sides, rear-hinged rear doors, a high ground clearance and large headlamps. Though it is being referred to as a concept, the DN TREC certainly looks to be quite production ready from the outside.

On the inside, the DN Trec concept sports a futuristic cabin. The angled center console houses the gear selector along with controls for the infotainment system, which can also be accessed via buttons on the three-spoke steering wheel.
The Daihatsu DN Multisix is a compact 6-seat MPV concept that had its world debut at the GIIAS 2017 earlier this year. The 6-seat MPV concept is 4,310 mm long, 1,720 mm wide and 1,695 mm long. It has a 2,620 mm wheelbase and 250 mm ground clearance. Under the hood, there is a 1.5 liter four-cylinder petrol engine which is paired to a CVT gearbox.
