Deepal, the new energy vehicle (NEV) arm of Changan has updated its SL03 electric sedan as the Chinese Lunar Year of the Dragon begins with a fierce price war. Deepal SL03 comes available in battery electric (BEV) and extended-range (EREV) variants, with only the SL03 BEV getting the update for now.
Previously the SL03 BEV was offered in two variants with starting prices of RMB 163,900 and RMB 191,900, and CLTC ranges of 515 km and 705 km respectively. However, Deepal is now offering three options for the 2024 SL03 BEV, with starting prices of RMB 156,900 ($21,820), RMB 163,900, and RMB 173,900.
