FAW (First Automobile Works) one of China’s largest state owned automobile manufacturer is developing a new sedan which according to the repots will be officially unveiled at the upcoming Shanghai Auto Show 2017.

The yet unnamed sedan (codenamed U066) is likely to be placed under FAW’s Junpai sub-brand which targets the budget buyers. From the spy shots received, the car looks pretty much production-ready which means FAW may officially launch the said vehicle in China soon after the Shanghai Auto Show.
The U066 will carry FAW’s 1.6 liter (113hp) naturally aspirated engine mated to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. According to sources, FAW is preparing a sedan for RHD export markets which can either be the Junpai A60 or perhaps this U066.
