The first batch of Geely’s Zeekr X vehicles destined for the European market left the factory in Chengdu. The electric vehicles (EVs) have already been transported to the port.
Last month, Zeekr shipped out the first batch of the brand’s electric vehicle, 001. The EVs rolled off from the factory in Zhejiang to Sweden and the Netherlands, the car maker’s first markets on the Old Continent. The Zeekr 001 liftback is offered for 59,490-67,490 euros ($63,500 – $72,000) with deliveries set to begin this quarter.
In September, Zeekr started pre-sales in Germany during the IAA Mobility 2023 in Munich. The manufacturer offered Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X for 59,990 euros ($64,000) and 44,990 euros ($48,500) respectively. The first direct sales stores will open in Stockholm and Amsterdam towards the end of the year.

Zeekr intends to expand into Norway, Denmark, and France in order to cover the majority of major European markets by 2026. Geely also intends to enter Middle Eastern markets in the fourth quarter of this year.
About Zeekr X, it is an electric hatchback that rides on SEA architecture. The X comes in two variants. The first one has a 200-kW (272 hp) electric motor on the rear axle which can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds. The second variant has a dual motor setup with a total power of 315 kW (428 hp) enabling a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 3.7 seconds. Both variants are equipped with ternary (NMC) batteries with 66 kWh capacity. The RWD models have a 560 km of CLTC drive range, and the 4WD model can run up to 512 km on a single charge.
