The latest Tucson in India is offered with petrol as well as diesel engines. The 2.0L four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol unit already powers the Alcazar in Indian market, producing 156hp and 192Nm of torque, and is mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. On the other hand, the 2.0L diesel engine churns out 186hp of power and 416Nm of torque, and is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. There is no manual gearbox on offer, but the all-wheel drive system with multi-terrain modes (Snow, Mud and Sand) is an option on the top diesel variant.
