Kia which is in process to retire the Stinger fastback sports car, has revealed the final edition of the vehicle. Debuted in 2017, the Stinger catapulted the South Korean brand into new a territory with its blend of luxurious, stylish design and a potent twin-turbo V6. However of late, the performance car suffered from poor sales due to which it is being discontinued hardly after 6 years of production.
To bid the farewell, Kia is producing a commemorative sendoff called the Stinger Tribute Edition, with only 1,000 units set to be produced worldwide. The Tribute Edition is based around the Stinger GT model, packing a twin-turbocharged 3.3L V6 engine under its hood. Though the automaker is yet to reveal its pricing.
The final Stinger is mechanically unchanged, with the motor pumping out 368 hp of power and 510 Nm of torque, good enough for a 0-100km/h sprint time of just 4.6 seconds.
