The increase in GST to 18% has started to take its toll on the prices of locally assembled cars. Kia has now announced the revised prices which are effective from the 14th of February 2023. The increase ranges between Rs 28,000 to Rs 129,000.
New Kia Prices in Pakistan
The price of the Kia Picanto has witnessed an increase of Rs 28,000 and Rs 32,000 for the manual and automatic versions respectively. After which the price of Picanto MT is now PKR 32.0 lac while the Picanto AT now costs PKR 34.0 lac.
Kia Stonic has witnessed an increase of Rs 42,000 for the EX and Rs 45,000 for the EX+ after which the Stonic EX now costs PKR 48.42 lac while the EX+ is now available for PKR 52.95 lac.
Kia Sportage variants see their prices going up from Rs 56,000 to Rs 66,000. This increase now renders the price of Sportage Alpha at PKR 65.56 lac, the Sportage FWD is now priced at PKR 71.11 lac while the Sportage AWD is now available for PKR 77.16 lac.
The price of Kia Sorento has gone up by Rs 72,000 for the 2.4L FWD variant which now costs PKR 84.72 lac. As usual the price of Sorento 2.4L AWD and 3.5L V6 increases in tandem by Rs 78,000 after which both the variants now retail at PKR 91.78 lac.
Lastly, Kia Carnival which comes as a CBU import has witnessed the most drastic of hikes. With an increase of Rs 129,000, the Carnival GLS Exec is now available for PKR 151.29 lac (1 crore 51.29 lac).
