Kia has emerged as one of the fastest-growing carmakers in India as the company celebrates its second anniversary in Indian market this August. At the same time Kia also celebrates the 200,000 units sales milestone achieved by the Seltos SUV in India. Not just this, Kia also become the fastest automaker to register 300,000 sales in the Indian market.

Interestingly, over 66% of the total sales of Kia in India has been contributed by the Seltos. According to information, 58% of the total Seltos sales comprise of the top-end variants, while the automatic variants contributes to over 35%. Moreover, Kia claims that 45% of total sales have been contributed by the diesel variants.

Kia also takes a lead in the connected car technology with 150,000 connected cars already sold in Indian market. The Seltos HTX 1.5 petrol variant is a popular choice among customers seeking connected technology. Interestingly, out of the total Kia connected car sales in India, over 78% has been contributed by the Seltos, while the Sonet accounts for over 19%.
