The brand is enjoying strong demand for its products, and its order book currently extends into the next 18 months, Winkelmann said. Lamborghini’s latest series production model is the Urus Performante, the marque’s SUV entry that had recently also set the production SUV record at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

While talking to AFP, Winkelmann said:

“We have more and more stepping into Lamborghini because people trust the brand, they see how beautiful the cars are, how high-performing they are.”

This is also the final year when Lamborghini will be offering pure internal combustion-engined models. The company will introduce plug-in hybrid models next year and its entire line-up will be electrified by 2024. As revealed by the company, Lamborghini’s first PHEV is also slated to be unveiled later this year.
