Maruti Suzuki has launched the CNG variants of S-Presso in India with a starting price of INR 5.90 lac (ex-showroom). Available in two variants, LXi and VXi, the S-Presso CNG is priced INR 95,000 higher than the equivalent petrol variants. The VXi version is priced at INR 6.10 lac.
This is the 10th model in Maruti’s line-up to be offered with a CNG option. Due to the added weight of the CNG tank, the automaker says it has tuned the suspension setup to enhance the ride quality and comfort of the hatchback.

Under the hood, the S-Presso S-CNG utilizes the same 1.0L Dual Jet, Dual VVT petrol engine which is tuned to produce 56hp of power and 82Nm of peak torque. Maruti claims a fuel efficiency of 32.73km/kg for the S-Presso S-CNG. Commenting on the launch, Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing and Sales at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said:

The S-Presso S-CNG is sure to delight customers with its amazing fuel-efficiency and strong performance. We now have 10 S-CNG models in our portfolio which are designed to reduce ownership cost and strengthen our commitment to a cleaner and greener environment.”
