The Government has increased the petroleum product prices effective from the 1st of November 2018.
Petrol price has been increased by Rs 5 per liter, diesel Rs 6.37 per liter, light diesel by Rs 6.48, kerosene oil by Rs 3 per liter. With the current increase, the petrol is now available at Rs 97.83 per liter, diesel at Rs 112.94 per liter and kerosene oil at Rs 86.50 per liter.

Earlier, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had recommended Rs 9 per liter increase in petrol, Rs 13 per liter for diesel, Rs 6.5 per liter for kerosene oil and Rs 6.48 per liter for light diesel.
On the 30th of August, the new government had reduced petroleum prices by as much as Rs 6 per liter for the month of September, while the rates remain unchanged in October.
