Following Kia and Changan, Al-Haj Proton has announced to increase the price of 1.3L Saga sedan effective from 10th May 2022. The company has cited currency depreciation and rising freight & raw material costs as the reason behind the move. The price increase will be applicable in two steps.
A 50% increase will be applicable to those units booked between 26th November 2021 and 10th May 2022, whereas all new bookings from 11th May 2022 will be entertained against the new price.
With an increase of Rs 200,000 the revised price of Saga MT and Saga AT will be PKR 23.49 lac and PKR 24.99 lac respectively. While after an increase of Rs 220,000 the flagship Saga Ace will be available for PKR 26.19 lac.
