Suzuki has unveiled the all-new Ertiga Sport Concept MPV, at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2018. The new Sport Concept is based on the second generation Suzuki Ertiga MPV. The Suzuki Ertiga Sport Concept features a number of exterior and interior upgrades over the regular Ertiga.

The second generation Ertiga was unveiled at the 26th Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) in Jakarta, Indonesia on 19th of April 2018. It is built on the new ‘HEARTECT’ platform which is the same lightweight platform used for the production of new Baleno, Ignis and the 4th gen Swift. It went on sale in May 2018 in Indonesia and sold 6,772 units in the first month after its launch.
The Ertiga Sport is not being projected as a performance model but is being regaled for its sporty appeal with plenty of cosmetic makeover. These include a blacked out front mesh grille, new 16” low profile alloy wheels, smoked headlamps and a distinctive body kit and roof spoiler.
Ride height has been decreased as compared to the standard Ertiga while suspension has also been tweaked for added performance. The side skirts receive ‘Suzuki Sport’ badging as well. While the rear is dominated by large boomerang shaped taillights, a big spoiler and faux diffuser.

The new Ertiga Sport also get revamped interior with a more contemporary style. It will be seen in a dual black and beige color scheme on seats and dashboard. Faux wood inserts will add to its premium appeal while the 7 seater MPV will also get infotainment and safety features among which will be a Smartplay infotainment system, automatic climate controls, keyless entry and push button start/stop feature.
All new Ertiga Sport will be powered by a 1.5 liter K15B petrol engine offering 104 bhp power at 6,000 rpm and 138 Nm torque at 4,400 rpm mated to a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. However no diesel option is on offer with the Ertiga Sport.
