Toyota has just shared teaser images of what is supposed to be the biggest SUV in its lineup. Its the next generation Sequoia, which will reportedly share the underpinnings with the latest Tundra.
The third generation Sequoia will be unveiled on the 25th of January 2022 for the North American markets.

The teaser picture shows an oblique angle at the rear of the SUV which reveals the design of the window frame attached to the D-Pillar, reminiscent of the previous generation Lexus LX. In addition, there is a set of inverted L-shaped LED taillights that connect to the side lines. In another image, Sequoia lettering can be seen written below the license plate frame. Although the front design of the new Sequoia remains a mystery but similarities to the latest Tundra cannot be ruled out.

Under the hood, the all-new Toyota Sequoia is expected to get 3.5L V6 twin turbo petrol engine in two guises, one with maximum power of 389 hp and 649 Nm while the other, a more powerful 437 hp and 790 Nm. In both configurations, the engine will be paired to a 10-speed ECT-I automatic transmission and will be available in both rear-wheel drive and on-demand 4-wheel drive.
