Honda unveiled the latest generation of their popular Civic sedan on the 29th of April. At that time the Japanese automaker didn’t revealed the prices of the all new Civic. Now however, Honda has announced the prices of 11th gen Civic as well as the date on which it will go on sale.

Available in 4 trims, LX, Sport, EX, and Touring, the 2022 Honda Civic sedan is priced at $21,700, $23,100, $24,700, and $28,300 respectively. As per available information, the LX and Sport will get 2.0L naturally aspirated engine good for 158 hp/187Nm and the EX and Touring will get a 1.5L turbo that churns out 180hp of power and 240Nm of torque.
In terms of equipment, the base variants will get Honda Sensing and adaptive cruise control with low-speed following along with lane-keep assist and traffic-jam assist, push-button start, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The Sports variant add keyless entry, 18-inch alloy wheels, more speakers, chrome exhaust, paddle shifters, sport pedals and a remote start.

The EX variant gets moonroof, blind-spot information without rear cross-traffic alert, heated seats and mirrors, dual-zone climate control, and split-fold rear seat. The priciest Touring version adds leather seats, navigation, rear cross-traffic alert, LED fog lamps, front and rear parking sensors, rear automatic emergency braking, larger interior/infotainment screens, Bose audio, power front seats, wireless charging, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, satellite radio, rain-sensing wipers, paddle shifters, sunglass holder, and 2 rear USB ports.
Honda has so far unveiled the new Civic in sedan form only while the hatchback is in works which will be revealed soon. The performance version such as the Type R will be made available in later stages.

The 11th generation Honda Civic will go on sale starting from the North American markets on the 16th of June 2021. It is expected to reach our part of the world most likely in 2022.
