The all-new Yue Xiang is the successor to the Alsvin V3 and looks more connected to the recent Eado DT and Eado XT series models, while slotting below the two in Changan lineup. It adapts Changan’s contemporary design language with large ‘butterfly’ grille upfront, which connects with the polygonal headlamps on either side.
Thanks to the double waistline design, the car looks sportier than its predecessor. The large tail lamps echoes to the sides as well. At the back the tail lamps are split by the trunk, which has an embedded spoiler. The rear bumper has reflector housings as well as black claddings on the underside.
The interior is as impressive as the exterior with a stepped center console with floating touch screen panel. The grey interior is enhanced by the subtle use of chrome embellishments. Features worth mentioning are LED DRLs, dual airbags, multi-function steering wheel, reversing camera with parking sensors, sunroof, and 15″ alloy wheels.
Dimensionally the new Yuexiang is bigger than its predecessor measuring 4390/1725/1468mm, with a wheelbase of 2535mm. Available engine options are either a 1.4 liter 101hp or 1.5 liter 107hp unit mated to a 5-speed manual or 5-speed DCT gearbox.
