Not much has changed to the exterior design apart from dual-tone body color options and new blacked-out alloy wheels in the top-end variant. Inside the new 2022 Suzuki WagonR gets a dual-tone themed cabin with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Plus the AMT variants now come with a hill-start assist feature.
Under the hood, the WagonR continues to be powered by 1.0L three-cylinder K10B unit (the same in new Celerio) good for 67hp/89Nm and the familiar 1.2L four-cylinder K12M petrol engine (89hp/113Nm). The transmission options remain the same, which are a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox calls AGS. The 1.0L engine also comes with a CNG option. Maruti says the engines have been tweaked to make the already very efficient WagonR squeeze out even more mileage. The 1.0L engine claims 25.19 km/l, CNG variants claim 34.05 km per kg and the 1.2L engine claims 24.43 km/l.
