Al-Haj Group of Pakistan has joined hands with Hyundai Motor Company of South Korea to introduce commercial vehicles in Pakistan. The venture makes Al-Haj group as the official distributor and assembler of Hyundai branded commercial vehicles in the country.

Do note that Hyundai previously operated with Dewan Group in Pakistan producing both passenger as well as commercial vehicles. The Hyundai Shehzore pickup truck, better known as Hyundai Porter/ H100 in global markets was one of the most successful commercial vehicles in its class in the country. However, the third generation Porter (Shehzore) was globally replaced by the fourth generation Porter pickup in 2004.
Al-Haj group already has a strong hold in commercial vehicle segment with FAW range of light & heavy duty commercial vehicles. The collaboration with Hyundai will definitely give them a huge advantage to further capitalize this segment of automobile market.
