In terms of looks, one has to admit, with each new generation, it has evolved to exhibit more balanced proportions and a refined design aesthetic.
The new Amaze gets a fascia that’s similar to the recently facelifted HR-V, featuring trapezoidal headlights and a large hexagonal grille connected by a chrome bar that spans the width of the car. The rear of the new Honda Amaze features tail lights that draw significant inspiration from the latest Honda City. Overall, the Amaze resembles a more compact version of the 7th-generation City.

All-new Honda Amaze launched in India
Under the hood, the Honda Amaze continues to be powered by the reliable 1.2L four-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine, delivering 89 hp and 110 Nm of torque. This is the same engine that propels the 6th-gen City in Pakistan. Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT. Key competitors for the 2024 Amaze include the newly launched Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor, all vying for dominance in the compact sub-4-meter sedan segment.
