In terms of dimensions, the BYD Seal measures 4,800 mm long, 1,875 wide and 1,460 mm tall with a wheelbase of 2,920 mm. It rides on BYD e-platform 3.0 and has various tech features onboard, such as CTB (Cell to Body), iTAC (intelligent Torque Control System) etc. Due to the low hood line and an aerodynamic shape, the Seal’s drag coefficient is extremely low at just 0.219 Cd (even better than the Porsche Taycan’s 0.22 Cd) helping it to achieve a greater drive range per recharge.

The Seal’s interior has a lot of ‘ocean’ styling. For example, the air vents have a wavy pattern and are decorated with a delicate blue trim. The flat-bottom steering wheel has three spokes which resemble a fish’s tail. It features a 15.6-inch touchscreen which can rotate between landscape and portrait orientation.
