Hyundai has launched the turbocharged variant of the Grand i10 Nios hatchback in India. Unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo, the Grand i10 Nios Turbo is priced at INR 7.68 lac for single-tone color scheme and INR 7.72 lac for dual-tone color version.

While the naturally aspirated versions are powered by Hyundai’s 1.2 liter Kappa engine, the Grand i10 Nios Turbo gets a 1.0 liter turbocharged engine that delivers 100 hp of max power and 172 Nm of peak torque and is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission.
Positioned as a sportier version of Nios, the Turbo variant gets styling enhancements such as revised front and rear bumpers, blacked out radiator grille and ‘Turbo’ badges on front grille and boot. The interior has been spiced up with an all-black theme with contrasting red stitching to enhance the sportier appeal.

Safety features include dual air bags, ABS with EBD, central locking, immobilizer, parking assist, rear parking sensors, rear defogger, rear camera with display, driver and passenger seat belt reminder, and speed alert system.
