MG debuted the new Cyberster, MG4 XPower, and EX4 concepts at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Cyberster was without a doubt the star, but the manufacturer kept the model’s identity a secret. The roadster, according to SAIC Motor, would debut in China before hitting worldwide markets the following year.

According to documents, the base model will have a 310 hp (231 kW) rear-mounted electric motor. A variation with all-wheel drive and a combined output of 537 hp (400 kW) is also anticipated. Additionally, 64 and 77-kWh battery packs that provide ranges of between 501 and 580 kilometers could be made available for the Cyberster.

Even though the EX4 idea was developed to commemorate the Metro 6R4’s 40th anniversary and is based on the MG4 XPower, MG didn’t have much to say about it. It features a substantial front spoiler, expanded fenders, and aggressive side skirts. Along with a big rear wing and a sizable diffuser, the concept has an eye-catching paintwork.

The concept is “underpinned by the extremely powerful electric drivetrain of the MG4 XPower,” according to the automaker, who declined to provide further details. As a result, it probably includes an all-wheel drive system with two motors that produce 429 horsepower (320 kW) and 600 Nm of torque. Thanks to this, the road-going vehicle can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.
