Pak Suzuki Recalls Alto for the 3rd Time in 4 Months Due to Same Reason

Pak Suzuki has once again issued a recall for its 660cc Alto hatchback. This is the third time during the last 4 months that the Alto has been recalled, that too due to the same reason– a faulty fuel filler neck.

The Alto was previously recalled in the month of July and then in September 2022. Dubbed as “service campaign”, the recall covers all Alto models produced in 2019, 2020, and 2021.

According to Pak Suzuki, the fuel filler neck of Alto can become rusted with the passage of time and in the worst condition, it may perforate, causing a risk to vehicle and occupant safety. If unattended, the rust can even get mixed with the petrol and damage the engine. The company is calling customers to visit the nearest dealership and get the faulty part replaced free of cost.
