Proton has launched a new variant of the Saga MC2 facelift line-up in Malaysia. Dubbed as Standard Lite AT, the new variant joins the four iterations (Standard MT, Standard AT, Premium AT and Premium S AT) and is positioned below the Standard AT variant. The Proton Saga Standard Lite AT is priced at RM 38,800 which converts into PKR 18.84 lac as per current exchange rate.

Standard features includes halogen headlamps, new 14-inch alloy wheels, manual-folding powered side mirrors, a boot lid spoiler, a urethane steering wheel, a multi-info instrument cluster display, ECO Drive Assist, fabric upholstery, 2 rear USB charging ports, manual air-conditioning (with N95 cabin filter) and a regular head unit (with Bluetooth and 2 speakers).
Proton Saga Standard Lite AT
Safety equipment remains same as that of Standard AT, with 2 airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchors, ABS with EBD & BA and two rear parking sensors. The new Lite AT variant is RM 500 (PKR 24,595) cheaper than the Standard AT, hence it obviously misses out on some features. such as ESC, traction control and hill hold assist.

Engine remains same in form of 1.3L naturally-aspirated four-cylinder unit with 94 hp and 120 Nm of torque and sends power to front wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission. A 5-years/ 150,000-km warranty and three free labor service are offered with the new Saga Standard Lite AT in Malaysia.
