The luxury hybrid three-row 7-seat SUV has been priced at PKR 4.5 crore. Bookings of Tank 500 can be made against PKR 1.0 crore with deliveries to be made in 3-4 months.

Known as a rival of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, the Tank 500 measures 5,078mm long, 1,934mm wide, and 1,905mm tall, with a 2,850mm wheelbase, making it slightly larger than the outgoing Toyota LC Prado. Under the hood, the Tank 500 is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder petrol hybrid system delivering a staggering output of combined 346hp/615Nm and drives all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic gearbox.

Key features include a 14.6-inch multimedia infotainment system, 12.3-inch instrument cluster, 360-degree surround camera, 12 speakers, Nappa leather seats, panoramic sunroof, tri-zone climate control, and 16m colors ambient lighting, whereas safety features include 6 airbags and lane departure warning. Tank 500 also employs an intelligent 4×4 system with 11 driving mode settings, allowing it to suit a variety of conditions.

Ever since it was unveiled in 2021, and went on sale in 2022, GWM has been committed to making the Tank 500 a competitive alternative to the Toyota LC Prado. Additionally, in markets where it is available, Tank 500 is already regarded as a Prado rival and is receiving praise.
