Sazgar has increased the prices of Haval Jolion compact crossover SUV. This is the second major price revision announce within 3 months of introduction and before the first unit hitting the roads. The first increase was announced in June 2021 after which the price of Haval Jolion was increased from PKR 55.25 lac to PKR 57.25 lac.
Now with an increase of almost Rs 300,000 the Haval Jolion is now priced at PKR 60.20 lac whereas after including freight & insurance charges, the price is PKR 60.57 lac. The revised price is effective immediately, that is from the 6th of September 2021. According to company notification, the inevitable increase is due to the unfavorable fluctuations in exchange rates. Sazgar calls this increase as beyond the hold of company.
Haval Jolion along with Haval H6 were introduced few months ago but the duo has already experience multiple stoppages in bookings since the company says it doesn’t want to accept a large number of bookings due to limited availability of stock particularly due to global supply chain issues. Whether Sazgar will be able to cope up with these hiccups in bookings and how this latest increase in price will affect the company’s reputation in marketing a fresh brand in Pakistan will be an interesting thing to see.
