Necessity is the mother of invention, but what inspires one to do the unthinkable? Well, creativity and the desire to solve a problem are often what inspires one to do the unthinkable.
The desire to improve upon existing solutions and push the boundaries of what is possible can be a powerful motivator. Additionally, the drive to make a lasting impact on the world or pursue a passion can lead to extraordinary feats. This is exactly what happened in the Korangi area of Karachi where a local mechanic named Muhammad Essa did something that made him a popular figure on the internet, thanks to a viral video that shows a Suzuki Hiroof (Bolan) mounted on top of the roof of his house.

According to Essa, he wanted to do something unique and unthinkable as desired by his sons. He came up with an idea to mount a Hiroof on his rooftop. Interestingly the thing is actually a large water tank that looks like a roof from a distance but is actually made up of cement. Essa has connected some electrical wiring inside the cement structure, which enables the lights on the front & back to turn on. Only the wipers, side mirrors, and wheels are original & taken from the Bolan while the rest of the thing is a concrete structure.
It took nearly 3 months for him to finish the project. Essa reveals that his neighbors initially made fun of and mocked him for what he was doing, but once the cemented Bolan was finished, they all began to praise him. People from far areas of the city are traveling to see the example because the Bolan on the roof has given the area a distinctive identity. The cemented Bolan can hold a large amount of water, way more than a conventional roof tank, reveals Essa. It’s even more interesting to watch this Bolan’s wheels spin, which adds to the visual appeal.

By embracing creative solutions and having the drive to solve problems, one can make a real difference in the world. Muhammad Essa is perhaps one such example.
