After Thailand and Singapore, Indonesia has become the third market in Asia to welcome the 11th generation Honda Civic. Like Singapore, there is only a single RS variant available.
In terms of the looks the Indonesian-spec Civic RS gets black side mirrors and door handles, dual exhaust outlets as well as a black boot lid spoiler. Buyers can also go for the Modulo styling package which adds on a front grille garnish, a front spoiler lip, side skirts, a rear under spoiler and door visors, while the interior gets a boot tray and rubber floor mats.
As for features, the new Civic RS comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels finished in black matte, LED headlamps with LED daytime running lights, dual-zone climate control (with rear vents), keyless entry and engine start (with remote start function), a Honda Smart Key Card, powered front seats, red ambient lighting, suede-leather upholstery and paddle shifters. There is a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster with customizable displays as well as a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system providing access to vehicle settings as well as support for Apple CarPlay.

Under the hood, the all-new Honda Civic in Indonesia is equipped with 1.5L VTEC Turbo engine that churns out 175 hp of power and 240 Nm of torque with power sent to the front wheels via CVT gearbox. There are 3 drive modes available, namely Normal, Econ and Sport.
Safety systems include 6 airbags and the usual array of passive systems including full suite of Honda Sensing safety assist, which consist of Collision Mitigation Brake System (CMBS), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow, Auto High Beam and Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN) and LaneWatch (LW).
After Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia, the new Honda Civic is now destined to be introduced in Malaysia.
