As seen on ASEAN NCAP’s official Twitter, what appears to be a white Proton X70 is being prepared for its first crash test, including a crash test dummy on the right side of the cockpit.
This will be the first official ASEAN NCAP test at CATARC, but why China you may ask? Simply because the first few batches of the Proton X70 will come directly from Geely’s production facility in China. CKD versions of the Proton X70 are expected to arrive (in Malaysia) from next year.
