The MG One Coupe SUV which made its debut in China has been officially introduced in the Middle East. Available in three trims, the all-new 2023 MG One will strengthen the brand’s increasingly popular product portfolio, offering customers even more style, technology, and traveling comfort at great value prices.
Built on the company’s latest Sigma modular platform, the MG One is powered by a 1.5L turbocharged engine delivering 181hp and of 285Nm, enabling the car to attain a top speed of 195 km/h. All variants are equipped with an innovative 7-speed CVT gearbox. The launch of the MG’s newest SUV is set to help the brand reinforce its position in the top 6 car brands in the Middle East. In terms of styling, the aggressive look of MG One is emphasized by a new three-dimensional front grill, shifting downwards, flanked by sharp-looking LED headlamps. The athletic look is highlighted through a dual-tone color scheme, a low and wide stance, and a sloping roofline, that gives it a coupe-like silhouette, split rear protruding lights, and a distinctive sport spoiler with a cut-out.

Inside, the MG designers have emphasized the use of sound and light technology to create a high-tech cabin designed for a new generation of tech-savvy customers living in urban areas. A novel smart experience for drivers and passengers is provided by a distinctive surround-type trip screen, Arkamys sound system, dual-colored sports seating, and a drive-by-wire gear system. The cabin is upholstered with soft materials to ensure complete comfort for occupants throughout their ride.

The comprehensive list of features includes a panoramic sunroof, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, GPS navigation, front, side, and curtain airbags, leather seats, a 12.3″ virtual cluster panel with a trip computer, a 6-way electric driver seat with lumbar support, and 4-way electric passenger seats. Furthermore, Cruise control, push-button ignition, keyless entry, and a rearview camera as standard equipment. To provide the driver with complete control and peace of mind on their journey, the flagship versions also come with a 360-degree parking view camera.
According to MG, occupant safety is prioritized by the installation of a body structure that comprises over 65% high-strength steel to minimize the impact of any collision by absorbing the energy. The standard Electronic Stability Program includes 8 safety functions, with ABS, EBD, CBC, TCS, VDC, HAZ, HHC, and BDW increasing driving stability in hazardous driving conditions.
