The intense price war in China continues to see the introduction of updated vehicle models at even lower prices. The latest comes from Chery which updated its Ice Cream and the Little Ant EV models.
The Ice Cream and Little Ant models are now even more attractively priced and offer great value for money. The Little Ant’s price range starts at 59,900 yuan ($8,200) and goes up to 74,900 yuan ($10,300), while the Ice Cream model is even more affordable, with prices ranging from 29,900 yuan ($4,100) to 43,900 yuan ($6,000).
Both Ice Cream and Little Ant have undergone adjustments and refinements in details and features. The Ice Cream model, in particular, introduces two new variants: the 120km Vanilla and the 205km Milkshake. Additionally, all models come with the Pure Green exterior color option and are equipped with a standard reverse camera and a 9-inch touchscreen display.
On the other hand, the Little Ant boasts a fully digital LCD instrument panel and a larger LCD screen in the center console. The smartphone connectivity feature allows users to control various functions remotely. The Little Ant also offers upgraded comfort features, including a black interior with green stitching, a new UI theme, and 6 additional comfort enhancements.
The Little Ant comes in two variants, both featuring a rear-mounted electric motor with 41 hp and 95 Nm. The 251 km range variant is equipped with a 25 kWh battery while the 301 km range variant comes with a slightly larger 29 kWh battery pack. Additionally, the vehicles support fast charging, allowing the battery to be charged from 30% to 80% in 40 minutes.
