Tata Motors has officially launched the Punch micro-SUV in India with prices starting from INR 5.49 lac (PKR 12.55 lac). These introductory prices will be valid up to 31st December 2021.
In terms of design, Tata Punch gets a split headlamp design, projector head lights, LED DRLs that combines the function of turn signals. There is a thick single-slat grille up front, a mesh grille pattern on the lower section of the front bumper which also gets fog lights on either side. The side profile features roof rails, 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, C-pillar mounted rear door handles and black claddings on the lower section of the doors & squarish wheel arches. The rear end features stylish LED tail lights, blacked out bumpers with reflector elements, rear windshield wiper, spoiler with embedded brake lamp and 90-degree opening door hatch.

Inside, the Tata Punch comes equipped with a host of features including a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, automatic climate control, engine start-stop button, digital-analogue instrument console, dual drive modes (City and Eco), steering-mounted controls, iRA technology, and a cooled glove-box.

In terms of safety Tata Punch gets dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, reversing camera, speed alert system, seat-belt reminder, brake sway control, and a tire puncture repair kit. Tata Punch also boasts a 5-star Global NCAP crash test score with an impressive 16.45 out of 17 points in adult occupant protection, and 40.89 out of 49 points in child occupant protection.

Under the hood, Tata Punch is powered by a 1.2L three-cylinder naturally aspirated Revotron petrol engine that produces 84hp of power and 113Nm of torque and is offered with either a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. Fuel efficiency is rated at 18.97km/l for manual and 18.82km/l for the AMT.

Tata Punch is available in 4 variants namely Pure, Adventure, Accomplished, and Creative with prices starting from INR 5.49 lac (PKR 12.55 lac) for the base Pure MT and goes as high as INR 9.09 lac (PKR 20.78 lac) for the Creative AMT.
