2017 Suzuki Swift Earns 3 Stars in Euro NCAP Crash Test

Euro NCAP has released the crash test results of the 2017 Suzuki Swift. The 4th generation Swift has received a 3-star rating in its basic variant equipped with standard safety features.

Euro NCAP crash tested the 2017 Suzuki Swift in two different specifications, one equipped with standard safety features and the other equipped with optional safety features. The standard 2017 Suzuki Swift tested was equipped with front airbag (driver & passenger), side head airbag (driver, passenger and rear), side chest airbag (driver & passenger), side pelvis airbag (driver & passenger), ISOFIX and seat belt reminder (front and rear). It scored 83% in adult occupant protection, 75% in child occupant protection, 69% in pedestrian protection and 25% in safety assist, and an overall 3-star safety rating.

The 2017 Suzuki Swift equipped with Radar Brake Support was awarded 4-star safety rating in Euro NCAP’s crash tests. In addition to the standard safety equipment, this model had Autonomous Emergency Braking (City & Inter-Urban) system, and scored 88% in adult occupant protection, 75% in child occupant protection, 69% in pedestrian protection and 44% in safety assist.
