The company hasn’t officially revealed the design changes yet but the images of the vehicle have been making rounds on the internet from a recent photoshoot, as per which it is reminiscent to that Hilux facelift we have already seen in Thailand and other regional markets.
Design Changes:
The 2021 Hilux Revo V facelift comes with a bold new look thanks to LED headlights, revised front bumper with fog lamps, a new radiator grille as well as redesigned 18” alloy wheels giving the vehicle a premium feel.
The interior also promises some notable changes that include redesigned combination meter that also includes tire turning angle and new interior color scheme. The upgraded 9” audio system with advanced features will ensure an enjoyable driving experience for the Revo owners.

The MID steering controls and infotainment system have been upgraded to match those offered with Revo V. The interior has been changed to adapt black color scheme.
Engine Improvements:
And the changes won’t just limit to exterior & interior but the 2021 Hilux Revo facelift offer will get technical improvements that have been made to its 2.8L, 1GD engine. Improvements in the turbocharger and other material and structural improvements of the cylinder block, the electronically controlled common rail injection system and the exhaust manifold have led to a power improvement of nearly 27hp of power and 50Nm torque improvement with output improved to 201hp and staggering 500Nm. This also has a notable effect on the fuel efficiency which is said to be increased by 4% in the new Revo variants.
Other Improvements:
Other improvements include the advance VFC (Variable Flow Control) power steering that comes standard in all variants– Revo V, Revo G AT and Revo G AT. In the VFC steering pump, consumption torque is reduced which helps in achieving enhanced fuel economy and superior steering response. In addition, all Revo variants will now have speed auto lock and additional 12v connector.
The above are just a summary of improvements that will be offered with the upcoming facelift to give customers an idea of what to expect from the new Hilux Revo. While we wait for the vehicle to launch, customers can visit the dealership to get the vehicle booked on partial payment.
