Following Kia, Changan and Toyota, Honda Atlas is the latest to announce a massive price revision across its local assembled lineup. This is the third time in 3 months and second time within just 5 weeks that the prices of Honda cars have been revised. The earlier prices revisions were made on 22nd January and 26th March 2022.
Like other assemblers, Honda Atlas has also cited Rupee devaluation as the reason behind the increase. The new prices are effective from the 1st of May 2022. However as per the company notice, those who have booked the City and BR-V models can avail the old prices if they deposit complete payments by 30th June 2022.
The highest impact has been witnessed on the price of BR-V which has been increased by Rs 170,000 after which the 7-seat MPV is now available for Rs 4,249,000. Price of the base variant of Honda City- the 1.2L MT has gone up from Rs 3,129,000 to Rs 3,264,000, registering a hike of Rs 135,000. The 1.2L CVT and 1.5L variants have become costlier by Rs 140,000 and Rs 143,000, respectively, whereas the price of both Aspire models has been increased by Rs 150,000.

The prices of new Honda Civic saw a uniform hike of Rs 150,000 across all three variants- the Civic 1.5L CVT (tentative delivery time of August 2022), Civic 1.5L Oriel CVT (tentative delivery time of April 2023), and Civic RS 1.5L CVT (tentative delivery time of April 2023).
