Pak Suzuki has set the highest-ever monthly sales record with 15,207 units sold in the month of July 2021. The surge in sales came in back of lowered car prices implemented from July due to reduced taxes as well as record-increase in car financing amid lower interest rates.

According to information, Alto 660cc remained the highest seller among company’s offerings with 6,115 units followed by 4,216 units of Cultus. There were 2,133 units of Wagon R, 226 Swift, 1,554 units of Ravi, 953 units of Bolan and 10 units of imported Jimny adding to the tally for last month.
Pak Suzuki enjoys unchallenged dominance in small car segment which enables the automaker to enjoy a thumping 66% share of Pakistan’s automobile market. As per sources, the company is ramping up production to meet the rising demand which is expected to remain high in forthcoming months following a reduction in prices after the government reduced various duties & taxes in the recently announced Auto Policy 2021-26.

Furthermore, booking of cars under Roshan Apni Car for overseas Pakistanis having Roshan Digital Account (RDA), has also played its part in the increase in sales of locally assembled vehicles. The inflow of deposits under RDA had already crossed $1.5bn which was $418mn in January 2021.
