Last month Master Changan revealed the design sketches of its upcoming new SUV that is expected to be introduced soon. Now however, we have got hold of the first exclusive images of Changan’s brand new offering in Pakistan, the Oshan X7 Plus.
According to the company, Pakistan will be the first country to launch this new SUV outside China which will also be supplied to other RHD markets from our country. More importantly, the launch plans of both Alsvin & Oshan X7 were shared exclusively on CarSpiritPK way back in September 2019.

The new Oshan X7 Plus is a beefed up version of the Oshan X7 and can be compared to Toyota Fortuner and 3rd generation Kia Sorento as far as the dimensions are concerned. According to our information, the X7 Plus will be available in both 5-seat and 7-seat versions catering to diversified consumer needs.

Under the hood there will be Changan’s latest 1.5L turbocharged engine from the newest Blue Whale engine series which churns out 178 hp of power and a whooping 300 Nm of torque while enabling the X7 Plus to achieve a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 8.23 seconds. Changan claims a fuel economy figure of 14 km per liter which is comparable to any conventional sedan.
Although there is no word on the pricing of the Changan Oshan X7 Plus at this stage, however it is speculated to be priced well below the aforementioned options. Changan is in works to expand its wings in Pakistani market & the introduction of X7 Plus is part of this move. The company was also seen testing other vehicles such as the UNI-T crossover as well as the Hunter double cabin pickup which can be expected to be formally introduced in our market in future.
