Sazgar is having an incredible run with the Haval SUVs in Pakistan, despite the challenging times when the local auto industry is finding it difficult to post respectable sales figures.

The company started 2024 with a bang witnessing sales of 967 units in January, which is 122% more than the 436 units sold a year ago in January 2023. This comes on the back of a strong sales performance in the calendar year 2023 when an impressive 2,475 units were sold compared to 442 units in its launch year in 2022 (September – December).
Sazgar ventured with Haval in March 2021 having already teamed up with BAIC. Initially, the Haval H6 and Jolion were sold as CBU imported units but then the company started rolling off locally assembled H6 in September 2022, followed by the H6 hybrid in November 2022. In September 2023, the locally assembled Haval Jolion started rolling off the assembly lines as well.
So far during the first 7 months of this fiscal year, Sazgar has sold 2,226 units of Haval SUVs which is a staggering 159% more than the 858 units sold during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. Haval SUVs are loved for their imposing road presence, value-for-money features & equipment as well as safety on offer, and a price that has helped the company give nightmares to the established names in the same league.

Pakistan’s annual vehicle production numbers have dwindled sharply in recent years, and it remains to be seen whether they can rebound to pre-crisis levels, if not improve much further. But Sazgar’s move with Haval has paid them off extremely well as the company continues to post remarkable sales numbers each month.
